Locally based Mary Smith the prize winning poet, writer and freelance journalist has been nominated for the “Peoples Book Prize” for ” Drunk Chickens and Burnt Macaroni” – The real story of Afghan women.
“Friday Magazine Show” Presenter, Kath Lord-Green (who is reading the book) interviewed Mary on today’s show (7th Dec) just after Mary heard of the nomination.
