A film, courtesy of David Slater, about the Loreburn Hall in Dumfries. For many years the Loreburn Hall, or Drill Hall as it was also commonly know, was at the heart of Dumfries life and hosted many acts within the music industry, including other events such as dancing, wrestling, flower shows, dog shows, roller skating, meetings and much, much, more.
The hall now stands silent and empty, having closed when the Council opened the flagship leisure centre DG One. Now a small band of people want to see the hall brought back to its former glory by reopening it for people to use once again.
