To demonstrate that there is some thinking behind the scheduling of our show, Monday 17 March will see Alive World dedicating its hour to jazz from around the world. As well as the obligatory “A Night in Tunisia”, expect to hear jazz from China, South Africa, India, Brazil, Israel and Peru. Tune into Mainly Jazz with Nicola Speirs from 7pm, for an hour of jazz with a “World” tinge, then from 8pm Harry Thomson will be presenting World Music with a jazz tinge. You get the idea…
