DUMFRIES POLICE INVESTIGATE ROBBERY

A MAN was robbed on a bridge in Dumfries and Police Scotland say they are looking for witnesses.
Police in Dumfries are currently investigating the robbery which occurred on the footbridge over the River Nith between Sandside and Greensands.
The incident took place at around 5.45pm last night (Saturday 8th August).
A police spokesman said the man that was robbed was uninjured.
He added: “We are keen to speak with anybody who may have been in the area at the time and are particularly keen to speak with a blonde haired woman who was pushing a pram and in the area at the time of the incident taking place.”
