Mainly Jazz this week will feature an interview with sax-player Ben Bryden, formerly of Dumriesshire, now of New York City, but back on these shores presenting his trio Velvet Donkey’s interpretation of the work of Scottish poet, songster and all-round genius Ivor Cutler, “Glasgow Dreamer”. The show was previewed in Dumfries on Friday, with a full performance at Kirkmahoe on Saturday, and is playing at the Edinburgh Festival on Monday and Tuesday.
