Police Scotland officers are investigating a break-in to the Dupont Teijin factory at Cargenbridge, Dumfries, sometime between Tuesday 15 and Friday 18 September 2015. It appears that the perpetrator(s) have entered the building, causing damage in the process in an attempt to carry out what appears to be a theft. Nothing has been stolen. Constable Douglas Taylor of Police Scotland at Dumfries said “those responsible seem to have gone to great lengths to gain entry to the building and we are keen to hear from anyone who may have been in the area and saw or heard anything suspicious in or around the Dupont Teijin Dupont factory over this period.”
