Kirkpatrick Fleming vandals sought

Police Scotland officers are investigating a vandalism to a white coloured Peugeot Bipper van which was parked on the B7076 road between Kirkpatrick Fleming and The Mill Hotel. The van was extensively vandalised sometime between Sunday 6/Monday 7 March 2016.
Constable Paul Kempsell at Gretna said “this appears to have been a sustained attack on this vehicle for whatever reason and all the panels on the van are damaged. Early estimates are that the damage could run into many thousands of pounds. The van broke down and was parked in an isolated spot on the B7076 near the junction with the M74. Anyone who may have passed this spot and saw anything suspicious should call us on the 101 number.”
