POLICE INVESTIGATING SUSPICIOUS FIRE AT SANQUHAR

Police in Sanquhar are investigating the fire which they say is suspicious and which was discovered burning in the early hours.

Firefighters were called to the derelict premises of The Old Castlemains Buildings, Old Mains, Sanquhar.

The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service attended and extinguished the fire.

Constable Scott Lockhart at Sanquhar said: “We are keen to hear from anyone who may have seen people in or around this derelict building on Monday night.”
