Dumfries born Grant Hanley . was involved at youth level with local club Queen of the South and with Rangers before he joined Blackburn Rovers.
He was today named in the Scotland senior squad for the first time .He has forged a reputation at Blackburn Rovers as one of the finest young prospects in the Premiership.
He has now topped it off with a call up for next weeks international against Northern Ireland in Dublin.
