Armed police seal off Dumfries street

Armed police have sealed off a street in Dumfries as they search for three men who are wanted in connection with an attempted robbery.
Three men forced their way into a property on Kirkpatrick Court on Monday and demanded cash from the residents.
Dumfries and Galloway Constabulary said: “At no time during this operation was there a danger to the wider public.
“Inquiries continue to establish the full circumstances into the incident and it would be inappropriate to comment further at this time.”
