Police advice to motorists due to heavy rain

Weather conditions remain extremely poor throughout the region, in particular in the west. There has been a lot of standing water reported throughout the M74, with Junction 15 being notably bad.
Motorists are asked to reduce the speed, leave plenty of space to the driver in front and drive according to the conditions.
