Free Style Fever event

Free Style Fever is a partnership event organised and funded by Choices for Life and the Community Planning Partnership to help raise awareness of alcohol and drugs misuse and to provide young people with information to assist them in making the right choices.
The young people of Stranraer Ramps Group have also been involved in organising the event which will take place at Stranraer Ramps on the 30th September 2012.
The event will have fantastic prizes including 2 x FIT BMX bikes supplied by Unit 23. The event will also have special guest judge Kriss Kyle who is a local lad from Stranraer. Kriss is a very successful freestyle BMX rider and tours the world performing his stunts.
Constable Ronnie Boyce said: “We are extremely fortunate to secure Kriss who will also be doing a demonstration for his fans. There will also be food and drink available as well as music.
“For all those non BMX – Scooters or skater people we have other events for you to get involved in where you have the opportunity to win great prizes. There are two age groups 10-14 years old and 15-25 years old. “
All competitors must be registered to take part and the completed registration/consent forms must be returned to either PC Boyce at Stranraer Academy of Linda Greenhill at the Council Offices, Sun Street, Stranraer no later than 25 September 2012.
Registration/consent forms are available at Stranraer Academy, Stranraer Police Station, Ryan Centre and the Council Offices at Sun Street, Stranraer. The spaces are limited so be quick to register. Should the event be postponed due to weather new dates will be released
