Queens out of League cup

Queen of the south was tonight beaten for the first time this season at the hands of SPL side Dundee United, with the score finishing at 0-1. Dundee united scored their goal just after the half hour mark, a breakaway up the right side, a cross in, a great save from Lee Robinson but he could not keep out the rebound. Queens nearly scored just before half time with a Clark header the goalie just managed to beat away. Queens carried on creating chances in second half and was very close on a couple of occasions but just could not find the net. In my opinion the best team got beat tonight. The way Queens play we can look very brightly to the future, this is the best football Queens have played for a long long time. Long may it continue.
