This week’s Alive World will be majoring on Mali. Home of so much great music, with a huge range of styles, Mali continues to amaze and intrigue

We’ll have tracks from Boubacar Traore, Bassekou Kouyate, Tinariwen and Donso, ranging from the firmly acoustic to Malian Electronica!
Also on the programme, music from Spain, the Basque region, Belgium, Israel, the Western Sahara, France/Bulgaria/Mongolia, and Slovakia, as well as vintage female vocals from Greece and Mexico.
