Arrest made after disturbance

An arrest has been made following an alleged “disturbance” in Dumfries town centre in which a number of people were injured.
It comes after an incident at the Midsteeple in the town’s High Street shortly after midnight on Friday.
Police said three people were injured with one taken to Dumfries and Galloway Royal Infirmary.
A spokesman said a man in his 20s had been arrested and was expected to appear in court.
