Iain Renicks and David Baird welcome onto the show Neil Arthur from 80’s Electro band Blancmange .
Neil will be talking about the band and the release of The Very Best of Blancmange which is released on 16th July.
along with Stephen Buscombe the duo found success with their 1982 double A side “God’s Kitchen”/”I’ve Seen This was followed by “Feel Me”, which peaked at no. 46. Later that year, they broke through with “Living on the ceiling”.
Their album Happy Families went Top 30 .Further hits followed with “Waves” (no. 19), “Blind Vision” (no. 10), “That’s Love That It Is” (no. 33) and “Don’t Tell Me” (no. 8), and their album “Mange Tout ” was considered a must have album in the eighties.
