AN exciting line has been announced for the Big Burns Supper in January with Black Grape, The Beat, Eddi Reader and Jason Byrne headlining the event.
In addition there will be spectacular carnival, cabaret, folk and trad
The line-up for the fifth Big Burns Supper includes Andrew Maxwell, Camille O’Sullivan, The Dublin Legends (The Dubliners), and brand new show Celtic Circus (from the makers of Le Haggis)
The nine-day festival in Dumfries, from 22-30 January, will be overflowing with party spirit from start to finish and will bring thousands of people onto the streets for the annual Burns Carnival, which takes place on Sunday, 24 January.
The Burns Night Carnival takes centre stage in the entire Festival, and partners gets high profile visibility on the street event which attracts an annual audience of over 10,000.
As part of our fifth anniversary Festival organisers are looking to work with eight new emerging artists and makers to help create the magic of Burns Night for the 2016 Carnival.
- Artists will work alongside the producer to bring the community together through the power of creativity.
