CASH THEFT FROM LOCAL HOTEL

A LARGE amount of money has been stolen in an early morning raid on a Carrutherstown Hotel
Police Scotland officers are investigating the theft of a substantial amount of cash from the Hetland Hall Hotel at Carrutherstown.
The theft happened sometime between 1.40am and 5am yesterday, Monday 1 August.
Detective Constable Rowan Buckley at Annan said: “We are currently trying to establish the circumstances surrounding this theft.
“We want to hear from anyone who was in or around the hotel on the evening of Sunday July 31 to get in touch if they saw or heard anything suspicious whilst they were there.
“Callers can reach us through the 101 number here at Annan.”
