Criffel fire

A grass fire broke out this afternoon on the western slopes of Criffel – one of the most prominent hills in Southwest Scotland.
Fire crews are in attendance. The flames as seen from the East caused Criffel to be silhouetted in a unique red glow.
This picture was taken near Mouswald by one of our team at around 10.45pm tonight.
