Dumfries Dolphins head to Edinburgh for National Event

A record number of swimmers from Dumfries Dolphins have qualified to take part in the Scottish National Age Group Championships (SNAGs) which started today.
Seventeen Dolphin swimmers will compete in individual events and will be joined for relay events by five more of their teammates.
The SNAGs is one of the most important dates in Scottish Swimming’s calendar, seen as a showcase event for both emerging and established swimming talent.
Held at the Royal Commonwealth Pool in Edinburgh, the Championships run from Wednesday 10th April to Sunday 14th April. Scottish Swimming confirmed recently that this year there will be a record number of entries with a total of 920 swimmers , ranging from those entering their first SNAGs competition through to senior swimmers, some of whom have who have represented their country on the world stage.
