Elderly woman knocked down in Lockerbie

Investigations are under way following a crash in Station Road, Lockerbie, about 16.20 hours today, 1^st March 2012, when an elderly local female was struck by a blue coloured Citroen car.  The female sustained a head injury and is in a serious condition.

Station Road is currently closed for investigation, a local diversion is being set up, access to Lockerbie Railway Station is via Union Street and Well Road, Lockerbie.
