Fatal accident in Thornhill – 59 year old Charles McLean, aged 59 years died

Police are appealing for witnesses following a one vehicle fatal road traffic collision that occurred just off Grant Court in Thornhill this morning (Thursday 3 May)
The collision occurred at around 07.00hrs and involved a grey coloured Ford Focus being driven by a local 59 year old man; Charles McLean, from Thornhill.
Emergency services staff attended however the man was pronounced dead at the Hospital. A police crash investigation is currently being carried out.
Police are keen to speak to anyone who witnessed the collision or anyone who seen the Ford Focus prior to the collision. Anyone with any information on is asked to contact police on 0845 600 5701 or any police officer.
