Hay Shed fire at Moniaive

Fire Fighters from Thornhill, Dumfries and New Galloway are still at present fighting a large hay shed fire at Moniaive .
Dumfries and Galloway Fire and Rescue recieved the call at approx 5.15pm and the are expected to be on scene for the rest of the evening
The hay shed next to Moniave Primary School, Chapel Street, Moniave was set on fire today between 1600 and 1700 hours. If anyone was in the area at the time or witnessed a group of youths running away from the location, please contact police
