Links from Heavier Than Metal 15th Feb and What’s on 22nd Feb 2013

Hoping you all enjoyed the Best of Heavier Than Metal… I went back over the first 12 shows and played some of the classics from our journey around the world including Canada’s Cancer Bats and Kobra and the Lotus, German Metallers Kreator and Sodom and of course the home of Metal Finland with Children of Bodom, Kalmah and  Sweden’s Amon Amarth to name but a few.

Of course our home grown talent is a plenty so I reviewed the new album from Heaven’s Basement and played tracks from Aberdeen’s, Estrella and Scottish rockers Attica Rage

Next weeks show we head to Egypt, Iraq, Tunisia, Jordan and United Arab Emirates to discover some new bands – mixed in of course will be our weekly dose of usual metal along with the quiz and pop goes metal.
