DUMFRIES and Galloway is full of creative and talented people but not all of them know who to turn to for help and advice to make the most of their potential.

Come and find out what’s going on in Annandale and Eskdale and meet artists and organisations organising programmes of theatre, cinema and visual arts and crafts.

Find out how you can get involved and tell us what you think should be priority for Dumfries and Galloway Chamber of Arts.

The Annandale and Eskdale Area Committee are holding a meeting on 25th November at the Victoria Halls, Annan at 6.00pm to hear about the work of the Dumfries and Galloway Chamber of Arts and how it supports local artists and communities to get involved in arts activities.

Chairman of the Annandale and Eskdale Area Committee, Ronnie Ogilvie said: “We are delighted to be able to bring a variety of artists and organisations to our local community meeting for discussion and we hope that the members of the public and all interested parties will take the opportunity to come along and listen to the presentations and ask questions.

“Dumfries and Galloway is well known for its artistic people and projects and it is an exceptionally attractive location to do business. We need to and encourage local ventures and help them develop opportunities in order to create a diverse economy in the region.”
