Missing Person from Fife Region Seen in Dumfries

The search for an elderly man who went missing from his Valleyfield home on Tuesday 16th July 2013 continues as Police Officers in Fife say he is now known to have travelled to the Dumfries area.

Andrew Miller (66) suffers from a number of medical conditions and his family are very keen to ensure he is found as soon as possible.

Having boarded a bus at Buchanan Street Bus Station, Glasgow, he was last seen getting off the bus at Dumfries Bus Station at around 1305 hours on Tuesday 16th July 2013.

Mr Miller is described as being 5ft 4” tall, with short grey hair. He was last seen wearing a dark coloured jacket, red polo shirt and dark trousers. He was carrying a walking stick and a Farmfoods carrier bag.

Anyone with any information or who knows where he is, is asked to contact Police Scotland as soon as possible by calling 101 or through Crimestoppers on 0800 551 111.
