Police appeal for witnesses after serious assault

Police are investigating a serious assault which occurred about 2300 hours on Wednesday 15 August 2012 in Queensberry Street, Dumfries. The incident resulted in a 30 year old man requiring hospital treatment for the injuries he sustained.
