Police Scotland Investigating Suspicious Death in Ecclefechan

Police Scotland are currently dealing with an incident in the village of Ecclefechan, Dumfries and Galloway which happened at around 2215 hours on Thursday 22 August 2013 whereby a local 40 year old man was attacked in a house in Peacock Place. The man was attended to by ambulance staff however he died at the locus. Enquiries are ongoing at this time and police are appealing for anyone who may have been in the area of Peacock Place in the village to get in touch if they saw or heard anything suspicious around that time.
