Police search for missing person

Police and family are becoming increasingly concerned for the welfare of a 36 year old Locharbriggs woman. Amanda Jane Lindsay from Akers Avenue in Locharbriggs hasn’t been seen since 1030 hours this morning (Wednesday 5 September 2012). Amanda is described as being 5’9” tall, large build, black hair cut short to one side, fresh complexion with a local accent. She was last seen wearing black trousers, a blue t-shirt and was carrying a large handbag. Police ask anyone who may have seen Amanda today, or know of her whereabouts to get in touch through 0845 600 5701.
