Region braces itself for more bad weather

Police have issued a warning that the Car Parks at the Whitesands in Dumfries will be closed today due to potential flooding.
Police are also reporting that the A701 at Moffat is impassable due to flooding as you enter the town from Beattock, please avoid this area.
