Scottish Water Confirms Road Closure

Scottish Water’s on-going investment in Stranraer continues with construction work on new storm overflow structures at five locations within the town.
In order to accommodate the installation of storm overflow chamber and associated equipment, a one day road closure of the A77 Cairnryan Road at the junction with Bowling Green Road will be required to accommodate crane operations.
This road closure will take place on Tuesday 6th August and will last all day.
Additionally, due to the nature of the lifting operation, exposed location and local weather conditions the remainder of the week will be held in reserve for another possible road closure in the event weather conditions are not favourable on the preferred date.
