Shadow Foreign Secretary To Address Locals

Shadow Foreign Secretary, Douglas Alexander MP will be the guest speaker at a referendum public meeting and question and answer session in Dumfries this Thursday (21 August 2014).
The meeting, which will take place in the Minerva Hall at Dumfries Academy at 6.30 pm is open to the public and media.
Douglas will join Dumfries and Galloway MP Russell Brown and Dumfriesshire MSP Elaine Murray at what will be one of a serious of events during the final month of the independence referendum campaign being organised by the Labour Party in Dumfries and Galloway to set out the positive case for Scotland remaining in the UK.
Earlier in the day Mr Alexander will also be carrying out a number of other campaign events in the area.
