DUMFRIES and Galloway Council and the Community Safety Partnership want our region to be the safest place in which to live, work and visit.

The Partnership is committed to reducing or eliminating the threats to safety within our communities and would welcome your thoughts on what the priorities for community safety should be and how we can improve the overall service locally.

You can have your say on this important issue by completing an online survey at www.dumgal.gov.uk or by completing the short survey at your local Library or Customer Service Centre.

Councillor Tom McAughtrie, Chairman of Community and Customer Services Committee commented; ‘I would really encourage everyone living in the region to take up this opportunity to have their say on what community safety issues affect them in Dumfries and Galloway. This local knowledge and insight is really valuable to us and we will use this and statistical data to inform future community safety work across the region’.

Your opinion is valued and the results of the survey will be used by the Community Safety Team and partners of the Community Safety Partnership to identify areas for improvement throughout 2016.

You can complete the short survey online until 23 December 2015.
