Ultimate self-starters The Xcerts released their critically acclaimed debut album ‘In The Cold Wind We Smile’ in 2009. In 2010 the band were invited to New York by super producer Mike Sapone for album number two, ‘Scatterbrain’, coinciding with an amazing run of supports across Europe with the likes of Manchester Orchestra, Biffy Clyro, Taking Back Sunday, Frank Turner, I am the Avalanche and Brand New.
With an avid UK and ever growing international fan base, they play SXSW for the first time in 2012. This Dumfries date is part of their headline tour, the last in support of “Scatterbrain” and their blend of alternative pop is not to be missed in such an intimate setting.
