Tough Mudder on Friday Magazine This Week – 13th July

This Friday Kath Lord-Green will be joined on the phone during the Friday Magazine Show by organisers of the popular Tough Mudder competition. The Tough Mudder is an international event which is taking place this weekend at Drumlanrig Castle, the event is an assault course designed by the Special Forces and, as noted on their website, the event aims to ‘test your [competitors] all around strength, stamina, determination, and camaraderie.’ The idea of the event is to make marathons, triathlons and other similar events fun, as well as which participants tend not to take themselves seriously, but instead to work to help and support each other to make sure that they all make it through.
It’s become an international event, and the event this weekend at Drumlanrig is one of only two in the UK, it’s well worth checking out and for more information be sure to tune in to the Friday Magazine Show, this week with Kath Lord-Green in for Cameron Murray.
