Two sought after £1200 drink theft

POLICE Scotland officers in Annan are making enquiries into the theft of nearly £1200 worth of alcohol from the Tesco store in the town.
At around 1pm on Sunday March 20 two men were seen in the store in the alcohol aisle, and then later leaving the store with a trolley, heading out past the petrol station.
There is no description of the men at this time. The alcohol consisted of bottles of vodka, cognac and whisky.
Constable Graeme McKirdle at Annan said: “This appears to have been a brazen theft where the alcohol was placed in a trolley and then wheeled out of the store without going through the check-outs.
“Anyone who may have seen anything suspicious on Sunday at the store is asked to give police a call at Annan on the 101 number.”
