Valuable bronze Henry Moore ‘Standing Figure’ sculpture stolen from Glenkiln

Glenkiln StatuePolice Scotland are conducting enquiries in relation to the theft of a valuable bronze Henry Moore ‘Standing Figure’ sculpture that was stolen from Glenkiln Reservoir, Lincluden Estate, Shawhead, Dumfries and Galloway sometime between Thursday 10th and Friday 11th October 2013. The sculpture formed part of an outdoor collection of modern sculpture by Henry Moore, including his world renowned King and Queen’ sculpture.

Police are appealing for anyone who may have observed any suspicious activity or vehicles in the Glenkiln Reservoir area on these dates.

If anyone has seen this sculpture since or has any information in relation to the theft please contact Police on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.’
