Vechile Break In & Theft

Police in Dumfries are appealing for information following a break in to a Citroen Berlingo van that was parked near Ruthwell Station sometime between 18.45hrs on Sunday 13 and 07.15hrs on Monday 14 January.
A number of tools were stolen from the vehicle, including a battery grinder, battery drills and a socket set.
Vehicle owners are reminded to secure their vehicles when leaving them unattended. Never leave expensive property on display, security mark them and hide them away. Always try to remove all expensive items from unattended vehicles.
