WOMAN IN COURT ACCUSED OF KNIFE INCIDENT

A 46-year-old woman has been accused in court at Dumfries of repeatedly striking her partner on the body with a knife at Barnbarroch, near Dalbeattie.
Christine Milligan, of Whitelaw Court, Castle Douglas, pleaded not guilty to committing the offence at Craigview last week.
She also denied behaving in a threatening or abusive manner and making threats of violence towards him.
Trial has been set for November.
