Woman pulled from river: Named

Police have now released the name of the woman who was pulled from the River Nith in Dumfries on Friday 2 November 2012 as 42 year old Hayley Jayne Astley from Heywood Place, Ryedale Road in Dumfries.
Investigations are continuing into the circumstances surrounding the death and police are keen to hear from anyone who may have seen or spoken to Hayley prior to 2230 hours on Friday night.
The Procurator Fiscal has been informed of the death.
