‘Sport Your Trainers’ Day – Monday 14th March

On Monday 14 March Commonwealth Games (2010) swimmer Andrew Mayor will be joining schools and clubs which are ‘Sporting Their Trainers’.
People in Dumfries and Galloway are being encouraged to wear their trainers on 14 March to show support for the Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games.
As an incentive to wear your trainers, Kings coffee shop will give 20% discount to anyone wearing their trainers when they sit in for a cup of coffee on Monday 14 March.
The national “Sport Your Trainers” day will encourage everyone from business leaders, office workers, schoolchildren and doctors to politicians, to ditch their normal footwear and wear their trainers for the day to support Glasgow 2014.
