A75 crash victim named as 52 year old Wojciech Grabowska

Police in Kirkcudbright can confirm the name of the man who died as a result of injuries sustained in yesterdays (Thursday 19 May) fatal road traffic collision is:
* WOJCIECH GRABOWSKA, aged 52 years, from Gatehouse of Fleet
The collision occurred at around 05.55hrs yesterday near the Twynholm bypass and involved a silver coloured Renault Megane.
Mr Grabowska was driving the vehicle and was taken to DGRI to receive treatment on serious injuries sustained. He later succumbed to his injuries.
The three other local male occupants of the vehicle, one aged 48 years and two 25 year olds, were all taken to DGRI to receive treatment on minor injuries sustained. Two were later released, one of the 25 year olds remained in for overnight observations.
