Police appeal for witnesses after sheep worrying.

Police are investigating a case of sheep worrying where two ewes have been killed on farmlands at Balmangan Farm, Borgue, Kirkcudbright, sometime between 1830 hours on Thursday 9 and 0730 hours on Friday 10 June 2011. The sheep were found a short distance from each other in a field near to the Balmangan Camp Site and it appears that they have been attacked and killed by a dog or dogs.
