Youth Beatz has launched its packed day-time schedule which will run from 1pm-5.30pm on Saturday 13th August in Dock Park, Dumfries. The highlight will be a guest appearance from X-Factor’s Wagner who will be taking to the stage along with local acts from youth and community groups.
There will be loads of free activities including:
* a climbing wall
* laser quest
* a mobile Ski Slope
* bungee trampolines
* rodeo bull
* a range of inflatables
* human table football
* police display team
* mobile youth centre
* YMCA world Zone
* music bus
* wrestling display team
* and Scotland’s largest inflatable slide
There will also be an interactive youth area called Wonderland where young people can take part in a range of activities to explore issues facing young people in the area.
With such a wide range of entertainment and activities on offer, both on and off stage, there will be something for everyone to enjoy at this year’s Youth Beatz – and all you have to do is book your FREE ticket at www.youthbeatz.co.uk, then come along to the Dock Park on Saturday 13th August and join in the fun.
This is the third consecutive year that the event has run and it is one of the highlights in Dumfries’s entertainment calendar. It is also the final event in this year’s Sumit Tae Dae programme for young people in Nithsdale.
Youth Beatz is now Scotland’s biggest FREE music event, and although top-class stars such as Chipmunk, Basshunter and Emma’s Imagination will be entertaining the crowds in the evening, the event aimed at 12-25 year olds has plenty on offer throughout the day.
