Fatal accident near Annan – 19 year old dead man named as James Stuart Hardie

Police have now released the name of the man who died at the scene as the result of injuries he sustained in the road traffic collision which occurred on the B724 Annan to Collin road at around 17.20hrs on Friday 16 September.
He is named as 19 year old JAMES STUART HARDIE (known as Stuart), from Lockerbie.
The collision involved a blue MG ZR and a red Toyota Avensis being driven by a local 52 year old woman, who was transferred to DGRI to receive treatment on serious injuries sustained. Her current condition is described as serious but stable.
The roadway was closed for nine hours for police collision investigations to take place.
