A75 closed again, following a serious accident near Carrutherstown

Crash investigations are currently ongoing following a crash on the A75 Gretna-Stranraer road at Hardgrove crossroads about 1 mile east of Carrutherstown between Dumfries and Annan, about 1700 hours on Wednesday 7 March 2012. The road is currently closed in both directions.
Three cars were involved in the crash and it is suspected that some other drivers may have observed the incident.
As a result police are appealing for witnesses to come forward who may have witnessed this incident. Anyone with any information is asked to contact police on 0845 600 5701 or any police officer.
