Fatal accident on A75 near Carrutherstown, in which a young child died

The A75 has now reopened, following yesterday’s closure after the serious crash at the Hardgrove crossroads near Carrutherstown. The road was closed in both directions from around 1700 hrs until the early hours of this morning. Police are appealing for witnesses to the incident.
Police report that a young child has died after the three car crash, which involved a silver Ford Focus, a black Honda Civic and a blue Renault Clio. The occupants of the vehicles were treated for various minor injuries however a young child has died as a result. Enquiries into the crash are ongoing and a full crash investigation has been carried out.

i think that this crash is awfull and i feel sorry of wee oliver who has now
lost his life it is really really really sad and his mum has a broken wrist
and is now sitting at home with it in a cast and an orange spongey
sling. and his mum and dad are really really bad and now we can not stop thinking
of him
