Body of a man found near Canonbie

Police in Dumfries and Galloway are appealing for information after a male body was found in the wooded area at Byreburn near Canonbie.
The body was discovered by a male game shooter and his friend at around 16.00hrs on Monday 20 December.
Early police investigations suggest there were no suspicious circumstances in the death.
The Procurator Fiscal has been informed and a post mortem examination has been arranged.
The body was described as:
* Male, aged approximately 40 to 60 years old, bald head, clean shaved and was fully dressed wearing brown jacket, a hat and gloves.
Detective Inspector Stuart Cossar said: “While early medical tests suggest that there was no foul play in the death, we are still keen to identify the man and piece together what happened in the lead up.
“Anyone who was in the area in the days, or possible weeks, beforehand is asked to contact us on 0845 600 5701 or any police officer. Information can also be left anonymously with Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
