Dead man named

Police have named the man who was found in the River Nith in Dumfries on Monday 28 February 2011 as 99 year old Thomas Thomson who resided at the nearby Abbeyfield House, Dock Park in Dumfries.
A report has been submitted to the Procurator Fiscal and there would appear to be no suspicious circumstances surrounding the death.
