Douglas McVittie (28) found dead in Castle Douglas

Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of a 28 year old Castle Douglas man. In the early hours of Saturday 5 March 2011 the body of Douglas McVittie was found at his home in Dee Avenue, Castle Douglas.
At this time the death is being treated as unexplained and the Procurator Fiscal has been informed. Police are interested in tracing anyone who may have spoken to Douglas on the days prior to Saturday 5 March 2011. Police can be contacted on 0845 600 5701.
